The Abyssal Realms · Book one
Not every soul is finished.
A girl who died after years of illness trades a flawless afterlife for a job at the gates of Hell, where the souls are still unfinished.

Book one
Abyssal Gates
Jenna spent years surviving hospital rooms one quest at a time. Then she died, and Heaven turned out to be perfect. Perfectly calm. Perfectly kind. Perfectly finished.
Jenna isn’t.
So she does what almost no soul does: she requests a transfer down. The Abyssal Realm isn’t the Hell she was promised. It has public transit, noodle shops, a paperwork problem and a Lord of Level Eight who plays strategy games to stay sane. It is also where the unfinished go.
When a child arrives alone at the Gates holding a single penny, Jenna has to decide how far she will go for someone the system has already forgotten, and what she is still becoming.
Content notes
